The biggest insect by Adam

The biggest insect is the Weta. It is so big it can eat carrots. Mark, the person who discovered the weta, discovered the giant weta up a tree.
The creepy crawly is only found on Little Barrier Island, in New Zealand.
Mark Moffett found the cricket-like creature, which weighs a staggering 71 grams: World's biggest insect is so huge it eats carrots The species were wiped off the mainland by rats accidentally introduced by Europeans.

The largest spider by Adam

The largest known spider is a male Goliath bird-eating spider. It was found in Rio Cavro Venezuela in April 1965. It had a record leg-span of 28 cm to cover a dinner plate. This species is found in the coastal rainforests of Surinam, Guyana and French Guiana but isolated specimens have also been reported from Venezuela and Brazil.
